4th International Workshop on Ionic Liquids. Advanced Energy Applications

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This workshop is an event of the research project “New Working Fluids based on Natural Refrigerant and Ionic Liquids for Absorption Refrigeration” funded by The SEVENTH FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME Marie Curie Actions People International Research Staff Exchange Scheme. The Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona (Spain) in collaboration with the Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal), Indian Institute of Technology Madras (Chennai, India), National Chemical Laboraroty (Pune, India), Anna University (Chennai, India) and Universidad de Concepción (Chile) promote a workshop on the new working fluids for Absorption Heat Pumps and Refrigeration Systems. Wide ranging topics including Ionic Liquids, Natural Refrigerants, Thermophysical Properties, Heat and Mass Transfer processes, etc. will be covered.

SCOPES

The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers interested in new working fluids for absorption heat pumps and refrigeration systems to discuss on various technical challenges. Related industries will be also invited to participate in the workshop for potential collaborations. The workshop will feature motivational and plenary talks from internationally recognized academic and industrial experts in the field followed by presentations of contributed papers and posters.

EXTENDED ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Authors are invited to email an extended abstract (PDF and MS Word versions, maximum 4 pages) to: crever@urv.cat

The abstract should include each author’sinformation (name, affiliation, full address, telephone and email address), brief introduction followed by key results (graphs, figures or result tables) and a succinct discussion of the findings.
